Learning From My Wagering Errors

[ English ]

1st to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been gambling on the net or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are beaten. Especially if you’re on a winning run. I have gone through countless thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It appears you are just having fun until you decide to be aware of your losses and the anguish settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you become queasy in your stomach and the more you attempt the faster you lose.

When you notice that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this logic hardly ever operates. Say you are betting on slots, have an amount set aside before starting your play. Don’t go over that boundary, no matter how alluring. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different pot. Don’t use your successes no matter what. As soon as you have played through your primary set limit, bail out. Head out, regardless if it is on the web or at a land-based betting house, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be a different day, a different time.

Keep in mind, betting should be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t afford the cost, don’t even begin.
