Iowa Casinos
There are a few casinos in the commonwealth, most on anchored scows. A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend water based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa riverboat gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open 24 hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot paddle wheel boat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slot machines, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday vingt-et-un events.
Iowa casinos offer an excellent deal of tax income to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of many commonwealth wide activities. Vacationers have increased at a rapid rate along with the demand for processors and an increase in jobs.
